Scientist-B:- 1 Post

Type of Job:- On the Contract basis

Pay Scale:- Rs. 48000/- Per Month (+HRA)

Project Assistant:- 3 Posts

Type of Job:- On the Contract basis

Pay Scale:- Rs. 31000/- Per Month (+HRA)

Project Technician-III:- 3 Posts

Type of Job:- On the Contract basis

Pay Scale:- Rs. 18000/- Per Month (+HRA)

Assistant (Admin & Finance):- 1 Post

Type of Job:- On the Contract basis

Pay Scale:- Rs. 32000/- Per Month (+HRA)

Qualification/ Experience

Scientist-B:- 1st class Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University/ Public Health Entomology with two years experience in Medical Entomology/Public Health Entomology (or) 2nd class Master’s degree with Ph.D in Life Sciences / Public Health Entomology from a recognized University.

Project Assistant:- Graduate in Life Science/ Medical Laboratory Technology/Nursing from a recognized University with three years Work experience from a recognized Institution Technology/Nursing Master’s degree in Life Science/Medical Laboratory or Technology/Nursing.

Project Technician-III:- 12th Standard pass in science subjects with any one of the following:

  1. Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or
  2. One year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology + one year experience in a recognized organization or
  3. Two years field/laboratory experience* in Government recognized organization.

B.Sc, degree shall be treated as 03 years-experience.

Assistant:- Graduate in any discipline with 5 years experience in administration/finance and accounts.

Age Criteria

Scientist-BNot exceeding 35 years
Project AssistantNot exceeding 30 years
Project Technician-IIINot exceeding 30 years
AssistantNot exceeding 30 years

Method of Selection:- Walk-in Written Test & Interview

Aspirants who wish to appear for the above-mentioned posts can download the application form from the website of ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre (www. vcrc.res.in). Aspirants are requested to fill the application form and bring all the original certificates of educational qualification (Certificate/Statement of marks), experience certificates, Aadhar Card along with one set of xerox of the same duly self-attested and recent passport size photograph for attending the written test/interview.
