Qualification


For Non-ITI: The Aspirant must pass the 10th class examination or its similar (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks. The candidate should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification (15/01/2021).


For ITI: The Aspirant must have passed the 10th class examination or its similar (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, from the recognized Board and also must pass ITI in the relevant trades. The candidate should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification (15/01/2021).


Age Criteria: 15 to 22 years as of 15th February 2021


Method of Selection: The candidate’s candidature will be considered on the basis of the merit list in each unit, which will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks in the Matriculation Examination (with minimum 50% aggregate marks). However, in the non-ITI selection, ITI passed candidates will be selected but they will not be given any weightage of ITI score, They must have only a mark sheet/certificate of notified trade.


Fees to Apply


Scheduled Caste (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs)/PH/Women:- No Fee


Others:- Rs. 100/-

How to Apply: Interested and eligible who wish to apply for Apprentice posts in BLW, they are required to apply through online mode by filling online application on BLW official website at blw.indianrailways.gov.in from 15th January 2021 and before 15th February 2021.
