Assistant Agricultural Officer:- 122 Posts


Assistant Horticultural Officer:- 307 Posts



Pay Scale:- Rs.20600-65500/- Per Month (Level-10) (Revised Scale)


Agricultural Officer (Extension):- 365 Posts


Pay Scale:- Rs.37700 – 119500/- Per Month (Level 20) (Revised scale)


Assistant Director of Horticulture:- 28 Posts


Pay Scale:- Rs. 56100 – 177500/- Per Month (Level 22) (Revised Scale)


Horticultural Officer:- 169 Posts


Pay Scale:- Rs. 37700 – 119500/- Per Month (Level 20) (Revised Scale)


Qualification


Assistant Agricultural Officer:- Higher Secondary (plus two), Diploma (Agriculture).


Assistant Horticultural Officer:- Higher Secondary & 2 Years Diploma (Horticulture).


Agricultural Officer (Extension):- 1. A Bachelor degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture); and,


  1. Must possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Assistant Director of Horticulture:- Must possess a degree in M.Sc., Horticulture (or)


M.Sc., Fruit Science (or)


M.Sc., Floriculture, and Landscaping (or)


M.Sc., Vegetable Science (or)


M.Sc., Spices / Plantation and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.


Horticultural Officer:- Must possess a degree in B.Sc., Horticulture.


Age Criteria:- Check Official Notification


Method of Selection:- Selection will be on the basis of Written Examination


Fees to Apply


One Time Registration Fee: Rs. 150/-


Examination Fee (Assistant Agricultural Officer & Assistant Horticultural Officer): Rs. 100/-


Examination Fee (Other): Rs. 200/-


For SC/ ST/ PWD/ MBC & Other: NIL


Payment Mode:- Examination fee is payable online through Net banking/ Credit/ Debit card or paid offline at SBI/ Indian Bank within 2 days from the date of submission of the online application, by choosing the option in the online application


How to Apply:- Interested and eligible who wish to apply for Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent & Other posts in TNPSC, they are required to apply through online mode by filling online application on TNPSC official website at tnpsc.gov.in from 05th February 2020 and before 04th March 2020.
