Senior Research Fellows (SRFs):- 6 Posts

Pay Scale:- Rs. 31000 – 35000/- Per Month

Field Assistants:-:- 2 Posts

Pay Scale:- Rs. 18000/- Per Month

Type of Job:- On the Contract basis

Qualification/ Experience


Senior Research Fellows (SRFs):- Should be seaworthy, the participation of cruises in research vessels, experience in oceanography data collection & analysis, must be physically fit and able to swim, strong interest in the conservation of marine mammals and sea turtles, fieldwork involves working at night for observing nocturnal /acoustic behavior of marine mammals.

Field Assistants:- Graduate degree in any discipline















Age Criteria35 years for men and 40 years for women
Method of SelectionSelection will be on the basis of Interview
