Qualification/ Experience

Assistant Professor in Family Medicine:- MD/DNB(Family Medicine) . In their absence MD/DNB(General Medicine)/MD/ DNB (Pediatrics)/ MD/MS/DNB (Obstetrics & Gynecology)/MS/DNB.

Assistant Professor in Dermatology & Venereology:- M.D/DNB (Dermatology & Venereology)/ M.D/DNB (Dermatology & Venereology & Leprosy)/ M.D(Dermatology)/ M.D (Dermatology including Venereology)/ M.D/ DNB (Dermatology including Venereology & Leprosy)

Veterinary Surgeon Gr II:- 1. Degree in Veterinary Science.

2. Registration with the Kerala State Veterinary Council as envisaged in the Indian Veterinary Act, 1984 (Central Act of 52 of 1984).


3. Working knowledge in Malayalam.

Overseer Gr II/ Draftsman Gr II:- 1. Must have passed SSLC or similar and

2. Must possess any one of the following: a) Kerala Government certificate examination (2-year course) in Civil Engineering.

Lower Division Typist:- 1. Pass in SSLC or its similar.

2. Typewriting Malayalam (Lower) KGTE or its similar.


3. Typewriting English (Lower) KGTE and Computer Word Processing or its similar.

Electrician:- 1.Pass in SSLC or similar qualification.

2.National Trade Certificate in the trade of Electrician issued from any institute recognized by Government or any other similar qualification

Film Officer:- 1. Diploma (Three-year course) in film Direction/ Cinematography/Scriptwriting from recognized film institute.

2. Five years (5 years) experience as an independent director of the film.

Sound Engineer:- 1. Diploma (3 [Three] years course) in Sound Recording and Sound Engineering from a recognized institution.

2. Experience for 5 (Five) years as an independent Sound Recordist in a Film Studio of repute.

Assistant Manager (Electrical):- Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Office Assistant:- 1. Plus two or its similar.

2. Typewriting English (lower)KGTE/MGTE or its similar.

Typist Gr-II:- 1. Must have passed S.S.L.C or its similar qualification.

2. Must possess Typewriting English Higher (KGTE/MGTE) or its similar and Computer Word Processing or its similar.

Maintenance Assistant (Mechanical):- 1. Pass in SSLC or similar qualification

2. NTC (Fitter).

Security Officer:- 1. SSLC or similar Examination

2. JCO or similar with 10 years service in Army / Navy /Air force.

U P School Teacher (Malayalam Medium) (By Transfer):- A pass in SSLC Examination organized by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its similar.

Sewing Teacher (High School):- A pass in SSLC Examination organized by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its similar.

Part-Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu):- 1. S.S.L.C or its similar qualification.

2. Degree in Urdu conferred or Approved by the Universities in Kerala

Police Constable (Telecommunications):- Pass in SSLC Examination or its similar.

Lab Technician Grade-II (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Caste (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) &ST only):- A pass in Pre-degree in Science Subjects or similar qualification. SSLC or it’s similar for EX-Servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces.

Junior Public Health Nurse Grade-II (Special Recruitment for SC/ ST and ST only):- Pass in SSLC (or its similar qualification).

Technical- Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course of 18months duration), issued by Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.

Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion) (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Caste (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs)):- 1. Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its similar.

2. Those who have failed in HSE(Plus 2) shall also be considered if a sufficient number of qualified candidates are not available to fill up the quota.

Assistant Professor in Biochemistry:- 1. MD (Biochemistry)/ DNB(Biochemistry) from a recognised University.

2. Three years of Physical Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India

Assistant Marine Surveyor:- 1. A Pass in SSLC or its similar qualification. Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification of the Indian Naval Hydrographic Branch

2. Must possess Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification of the Indian Naval Hydrographic Branch.

Instructor in Commerce:- 1. First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from any recognised University after undergoing a regular institutional course of study.

2. Diploma in Commercial Practice awarded/recognised by Government of Kerala after three years of regular institutional course of study

Divisional Accountant:- A pass in B.Com in First Class with not less than 3 years experience in Government undertakings in Finance and Accounts Department.

Driver Gr. II/Tractor Driver:- 1. Pass in Standard VII (New) or its similar.

2. Current driving Licence with an endorsement to drive Heavy Motor Vehicles and tractors. Heavy Duty driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must-have endorsement both for heavy goods and heavy passenger vehicles and the applications of candidates possessing Licence with only one endorsement will be summarily rejected.

Foreman (Wood Workshop):- 1. Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; and

2. One year’s experience in a supervisory capacity in a wood Workshop equipped with modern machines.

Overseer Gr. II/Draftsman Gr. II (I NCALC/AI):- Diploma in Civil Engineering Approved by the Govt. of Kerala or any similar qualifications.

Recording Assistant:- Diploma (3 years course) in Sound Recording/ Sound Engineering from a recognized institution. In the absence of a candidate with the above qualifications, SSLC with 3 years experience in professional recording work in a film studio of repute.

Electrician Gr. II:- S.S.L.C. With I.T.I Electrician.

Security Guard/ Security Guard Grade-II/ Watcher Grade II:- 1. Pass in Standard VII(New) or its similar Examination.

2. Not less than 3 years experience in the Armed forces viz. Army/ Navy/ Air Force.

Security Guard/ Security Guard Grade-II/ Watcher Grade II:- 1. Pass in Standard VII(New) or its similar Examination.

2. Not less than 3 years experience in the Armed forces viz. Army/ Navy/ Air Force.

Security Guard/ Security Guard GradeII/ Watcher Grade II:- 1. Pass in Standard VII or Equivalent

2. Not less than 3 years experience in the Armed forces viz. Army/ Navy/ Air Force

Security Guard:- 1. SSLC failed (Application from those who have passed SSLC shall not be considered.)

2. Not less than 3 years experience in the Armed forces viz. Army/ Navy/ Air Force

Full-Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu):- 1. S.S.L.C or its similar qualification.

2. Degree in Urdu conferred or Approved by the Universities in Kerala

Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion):- Pass in HSE examination (Plus Two) or its similar Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable

Laboratory Technician Gr. II:- A pass in Pre-Degree or similar examination with not less than 50% marks or B grade in Science subjects. Relaxation of 5% marks to Socially and Educationally Backward communities who come under the purview of G.O (P) No.208/66/PD dated 21-05-1966 and subsequent orders/amendments.

Pharmacist Gr-II (Homoeo):- 1. Pass in S.S.L.C or its similar.

2. A pass Certificate obtained after successful completion of Nurse-Cum Pharmacist Training Course (Homoeopathy) organized by the Government of Kerala / A pass in Certificate Course in Pharmacy (Homoeopathy) organized by the Government of Kerala or its similar qualification recognised by the Government

Ayurveda Therapist:- 1. Pass in S.S.L.C or similar qualification.

2. Pass in Ayurveda Therapists Course organized by Govt. of Kerala.

Part-Time High School Teacher (Urdu):- A Degree in Urdu and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or Approved by the universities in Kerala

Part-Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu):- 1 S.S.L.C or its similar qualification.

2 Degree in Urdu conferred or Approved by the Universities in Kerala

Part-Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu):- 1 S.S.L.C or its similar qualification.
